Hi there! We hope you had a restful weekend. This week marks our 8 month mark since we first started!!! This past Wednesday and Friday, we held 2 Zoom concerts for all the residents at care facilities we work with! We're so thankful for everyone who participated. In case you missed it, here is the link to the video with all of the performances: https://youtu.be/xIYyTjUoixQ. It's on our Facebook page as well! Also, we're so happy to announce that we now have a California chapter! Take a look at the California chapter page on our website to learn more about the amazing leadership team. With December around the corner, we are beginning to plan our Winter Holiday Concert! If you would like to perform, please let us know!
Happy Sunday! We hope you're excited for this week, and especially for our Fall Concerts! Both concerts will have the same performances and are featuring covers of songs by Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, Elvis Presley and more fabulous artists! We'll be posting a video of the performances on YouTube this week and we hope you enjoy them! This concert is our way of sending a big virtual hug to the seniors at the care facilities who we meet with and to spread joy! Also, this Friday is Black Friday! If you are looking to purchase anything off of Amazon, please don't forget to add us as your charity on Amazon Smile, and 0.5% of your purchase price will be donated to us at no cost to you!
Hi there! We are just over 1 week away from our Thanksgiving Concerts! We will be showcasing performances from our volunteers, school choir groups, and Windy City Performing Arts! The dates and times for both concerts are the 25th @ 2pm CT and the 27th at 2pm CT. Residents from over 24 care facilities in Illinois and around the country will be tuning in! After the concerts, we'll be posting the performances on our YouTube channel, so be sure to watch them if you can!
Hi there, happy Sunday! With our fall concerts are coming up, we're starting to finalize the schedule of performances! Regardless of if you currently volunteer with us and if you are interested, we would love to have you perform! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to express your interest. Aside from the concerts, we now have a target wishlist! Visit the page at tgt.gifts/liftingheartswiththearts. Also, we just hit the 2,000 meeting mark! That means that we've held over 2,000 meetings between our youth volunteers and seniors at care facilities since we first started in April!! We're so excited for our next 2,000 meetings and are so grateful for the opportunity to help facilitate these interactions.
Happy November! This week, we're proud to announce that it's our 7 month mark! We're also celebrating the creation of a new chapter in Texas under the leadership of Alexa Vazquez-Leon, Suzette Torres and Nathaniel Doucet!! We can't wait to connect with more seniors in Texas. We have just over 3 weeks until our Thanksgiving concerts take place! We will live-stream each concert on YouTube, so don't worry if you can't make the scheduled times!
Happy Sunday! If you viewed our website this week, you noticed that this week marked some incredible growth for LHA! We have officially opened our Nevada Chapter, led by T'jai Poole, Se'Niya Seltzer and BaiLee Banto!! We're so excited to connect with more seniors and volunteers through this chapter. Additionally, for our Illinois Chapter, we have a new leadership team led by 11 of our volunteers: Natalie, Caroline, Sophie, Roxy, Monica, Ethan, Sofia, Toks, Emily, Fay-Ling and Nena! With this new team, our goal is to reach more care facilities and seniors in Illinois with Lifting Hearts with the Arts. Stay tuned for more updates on LHA chapters!

Hey there, happy Sunday! Have you ever wanted to participate in a virtual concert and perform for a live (virtual) audience of just over 100 seniors from across the country? Now's your chance! We're in the process of organizing a few live virtual concerts at the end of November and during the winter holiday season for seniors at all the care facilities we work with! If you don't already volunteer with LHA, be sure to apply on our website! Additionally, we're happy to welcome Lauren, Alexandria, Sumayya, Bianca and Greta to our team! As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions!
24 weeks... already?! That's right! We're so happy to announce that this week marked our 6th month of connecting seniors and youth through the arts. Throughout the past 6 months, we have held over 1700 one-on-one meetings and group activities between our youth volunteers and senior friends at care facilities in the US and Canada. Since we were first founded, we grew from just 4 volunteers to over 60 volunteers! We would not have been able to grow without the love and support of the activity directors we work with and the members of our communities. Join us in celebrating LHA's 6 month mark by spreading the word about what we do to your friends and family, by donating gently-used devices, or by adding us as your charity on Amazon Smile if you can!
Hi there! We're so excited to welcome our new volunteers, Beyza, Monica, Raynne and Shreeya to our team this week! We just received donations of fire tablets and kindles! We're so excited to donate them, and be sure to stay tuned to find out where the donations go! As always, we're continuing to meet with our senior friends and host group activities. Did you know that our volunteers host activities ranging from chair yoga to Google Earth tours? If that sounds exciting then apply to become a volunteer or help us by spreading the word to friends and family. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions.
