Hi everyone! Week 5 was a great week for Lifting Hearts with the Arts. We welcomed Aria, Gabi, Meg, Ella and Ellerie to our team!! Additionally, we filed our organization with the state of Illinois and are officially a nonprofit! We have added a google form to our website where you can enter details for any gently-used tablets that you are willing to donate. We were even interviewed on WGN radio by Ms. Anna Davlantes! We met with 117 residents this past week and our calendars are filling up! We cherish our meetings with the residents and love building new friendships. Please continue to spread the word about our organization to your friends/family!

Hi everyone! Week four was a big week for Lifting Hearts with the Arts. We met with 47 residents through video and phone calls and have added several new volunteers to our team! Mia, Darcy, Chelsea, Chloe, Jordan, Kalaya, and Ellie are excited to meet with all of our new residents. If you have any gently-used tablets/iPads, please consider donating them to our organization so that we can help the residents of assisted living homes virtually connect with their families during these unique and trying times.
In week number three, we have continued to meet new people and develop many new friendships. In fact, we connected with 42 residents this past week! We have broadened our reach to many more assisted living facilities and even a home for the visually impaired. We cherish each of our conversations and feel lucky to have met such kind and warm individuals. If you can, please donate to our GoFundMe or continue to spread the word about our organization and services!
Hello everyone! Week number two for Lifting Hearts with the Arts has been a blast! We met with 22 residents, started conducting group sessions via Zoom and even hosted a friendly trivia competition for some residents! We loved meeting new people and listening to what they had to say. Additionally, we had several new volunteers join our team and they look forward to connecting with residents! Last but not least, don't forget to follow us on social media and spread the word about us to any assisted living facility near you!
Hello! In our first week, we've already connected with three residents from nursing homes via Zoom and FaceTime!! We have chatted with them, played games with them and even played music to them! Our calendar has started filling up quickly for the coming weeks and we are in the process of adding more volunteers to our team. We look forward to seeing new faces and listening to more stories! We are now accepting donations of gently-used tablets and have set up a fundraiser on GoFundMe! Donate here!
