About
Aging and age-ism are themes that are not commonly discussed in the setting of college campuses (some of the largest centers of young people in the United States). This program is directed towards general college-aged youth audiences to create more of a conversation about the importance of intergenerational connections and dialogues around aging.
Our goal is to host intergenerational-themed fairs at various colleges and universities each year that allow students of all different interests and backgrounds to engage in dialogue and participate in activities that build empathy surrounding aging. We are partnering with various researchers and care facility staff to develop engaging and educational activities to help demystify the process of aging and spread the importance of intergenerational connections to our society today.

Coll-AGE @ Princeton
We held our first Coll-AGE event at Princeton University on Sep 28, 2024 from 1-3pm as part of the University's First Year Families Weekend programming! We had over 100 participants (including students and their family members)! The event was co-sponsored by Princeton organizations including TigerWell, the Pace Center for Civic Engagement, the Peer Health Adviser Program, Acts of Kindness, Princeton Alzheimer's Buddies and Princeton Music Outreach as well as the MIT Age Lab. Our activities included an interactive photo collage, letter writing and trivia! A special thank you to our Princeton student team of Alexandra Lee, Jose Virgen Ortiz, Gary Smith, Milan Schillaci, Venezia Garza, Aakansh Yerpude, Melvi Agolli, Claire Kho, Jessica Guo and Diya Hundiwala for all of their work towards making this event a success!
