Happy Sunday! If you viewed our website this week, you noticed that this week marked some incredible growth for LHA! We have officially opened our Nevada Chapter, led by T'jai Poole, Se'Niya Seltzer and BaiLee Banto!! We're so excited to connect with more seniors and volunteers through this chapter. Additionally, for our Illinois Chapter, we have a new leadership team led by 11 of our volunteers: Natalie, Caroline, Sophie, Roxy, Monica, Ethan, Sofia, Toks, Emily, Fay-Ling and Nena! With this new team, our goal is to reach more care facilities and seniors in Illinois with Lifting Hearts with the Arts. Stay tuned for more updates on LHA chapters!

Hi there! We have finalized the dates and times for our Zoom concerts! They'll be on the 25th and 26th of November at 2pm CT! We can't wait and are already counting down the days!! This week, we introduced some new group activities as well, including Origami lessons, Optical Illusion fun, Never Have I Ever Bingo, and two truths and a lie- Zoom edition! Our new volunteers are Dhriti, Usman and Elizabeth! Feel free to reach out with any questions and have a great week!
Hey there, happy Sunday! Have you ever wanted to participate in a virtual concert and perform for a live (virtual) audience of just over 100 seniors from across the country? Now's your chance! We're in the process of organizing a few live virtual concerts at the end of November and during the winter holiday season for seniors at all the care facilities we work with! If you don't already volunteer with LHA, be sure to apply on our website! Additionally, we're happy to welcome Lauren, Alexandria, Sumayya, Bianca and Greta to our team! 24 weeks... already?! That's right! We're so happy to announce that this week marked our 6th month of connecting seniors and youth through the arts. Throughout the past 6 months, we have held over 1700 one-on-one meetings and group activities between our youth volunteers and senior friends at care facilities in the US and Canada. Since we were first founded, we grew from just 4 volunteers to over 60 volunteers! We would not have been able to grow without the love and support of the activity directors we work with and the members of our communities.
