Hi there! We hope you had a restful weekend. This week marks our 8 month mark since we first started!!! This past Wednesday and Friday, we held 2 Zoom concerts for all the residents at care facilities we work with! We're so thankful for everyone who participated. Happy Sunday! We hope you're excited for this week, and especially for our Fall Concerts! Both concerts will have the same performances and are featuring covers of songs by Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, Elvis Presley and more fabulous artists! We'll be posting a video of the performances on YouTube this week and we hope you enjoy them! This concert is our way of sending a big virtual hug to the seniors at the care facilities who we meet with and to spread joy! Also, this Friday is Black Friday! Hi there! We are just over 1 week away from our Thanksgiving Concerts! We will be showcasing performances from our volunteers, school choir groups, and Windy City Performing Arts! The dates and times for both concerts are the 25th @ 2pm CT and the 27th at 2pm CT. Residents from over 24 care facilities in Illinois and around the country will be tuning in! After the concerts, we'll be posting the performances on our YouTube channel, so be sure to watch them if you can!
Hi there, happy Sunday! With our fall concerts are coming up, we're starting to finalize the schedule of performances! Regardless of if you currently volunteer with us and if you are interested, we would love to have you perform! Please email [email protected] with any questions or to express your interest. That means that we've held over 2,000 meetings between our youth volunteers and seniors at care facilities since we first started in April!! We're so excited for our next 2,000 meetings and are so grateful for the opportunity to help facilitate these interactions.
Happy November! This week, we're proud to announce that it's our 7 month mark! We're also celebrating the creation of a new chapter in Texas under the leadership of Alexa Vazquez-Leon, Suzette Torres and Nathaniel Doucet!! We can't wait to connect with more seniors in Texas. We have just over 3 weeks until our Thanksgiving concerts take place! We will live-stream each concert on YouTube, so don't worry if you can't make the scheduled times!
